The mission of this blog is to share my life long collection of show-stopping recipes and culinary presentations that will amaze and astound. This is not for the novice nor the faint of heart; you're going to have to know your way around the kitchen pretty well to pull off many of these triumphs. If you relish the idea of bringing to the table a beautiful and unique masterpiece, with looks bested only by the taste, you will find inspiration and instruction here.
Only a few of these recipes are wholly original creations. For the most part, I've combed countless cookbooks, magazines, and newspapers; taken notes and ideas from restaurants far and wide; been inspired by some of NYC's best caterers, and asked friends and family for their winning concoctions. Every effort will be made to disclose the original source, and elaborations and variations I've added will be clearly indicated.
As I want to include photographs of the dishes, this will have to proceed at a measured pace.
And as for the title, Spectacularly Delicious, well I'd hoped to use Spectacular Spectacular but it seems that title has already been spoken for. So, Spectaculary Delicious it is.
